For all the book lovers in the Kansas City area, a trip to Rainy Day Books in Fairway is a must! This local bookstore has a great selection of books, but it’s best feature is the quantity and quality of the book signings/author events in the Kansas city area.
Rainy Day Books hosts local authors as well as highly recognizable ones. Usually the event is around $25, but you get a copy of the book and have a chance to get it signed. The author usually speaks for 30 minutes and then does the book signing. The only thing is, the more well known an author is, the more likely the event is to sell out!
